WEIGHT LOSS HYPNOTHERAPY
The clinical application of hypnotherapy convinces the brain that the stomach is full after a certain level of intake, and that there is no need for more food. It is most definitely not a fad, or a diet of any kind – we know that these only work in the short term. The Virtual Gastric Band allows you to eat when you want to but will enable you to take in smaller portions. Best of all, because it is not a diet you won’t feel deprived, miserable or hungry, the issues which cause all diets to fail. The Virtual Gastric Band effectives negates these issues, you are left with a long-term solution to your weight issues.
There is a great amount of evidence supporting the use of hypnosis for weight loss and it has become very popular over the last two decades. One of the benefits of using hypnosis for weight loss is that, not only does it allow the client to lose weight efficiently and quickly, it also changes the whole mind set thus enabling the client to make those long term lifestyle changes to keep the weight off long term.
One of the methods that we offer to clients is the “Virtual Gastric band” – a non-surgical technique which uses the power of hypnotherapy to convince the subconscious that a gastric band has been fitted. The client will notice that he or she can only eat smaller amounts of food, in much the same way as a real gastric band works. It is perfectly safe as no actual surgery takes place.
At the initial appointment an in-depth case history is taken to ensure that we understand your background, issues to be addressed and what you wish to achieve through hypnotherapy. This enables the sessions to be suitably tailored to your individual needs.
Subsequent sessions are 60 minutes and are normally part of a programme. The number of sessions required depends on the issues that are addressed and on your goals.
